| 2 Sep 2002 | Marlena Cannon | Nobody gets away with tomb-raiding when Winston's around. The shading is nice, but my favourite part about this picture is that you get a sense of narrative, of story. Something has just happened, and it gives interest to the piece to figure out exactly what. | |
| 7 Oct 2002 | Anabel Vermeersch (Yshtar) | Hmm, I don't see what you reproach to your pencil shading, looks great to me! The armor, the folds...everything. Great detail....and is it just me, or is there a kind of monster/celtic face you can see when you stare at the armor?...(or do I just have to stop with my carpet...) Stefan Babij replies: "I guess there is a monster face somewhere in there.. did not realise that at the time.. " | |

| 20 Jun 2003 | Paul Karvanis | wow!!!! this guy is super-slick. i love the shading on this one. Especially the axe, i'm really jealous of that =) Stefan Babij replies: "super slick lol that's a new one? thanks. the axe is my favorite part of the pic as well " | |

| 16 Feb 2004 | Jose Rafael CruzpaganIII | You have a good sense of shadow and light, and the toonish look of your characters is entertaining. I'd have to disagree with your stance on not using reference materials when drawing. When you reference other peoples works it helps you to find what they did well in their own works and helps to inspire oneself. You don't have to out and out copy their work but when you start to notice the smaller details of other peoples works it just helps to speed the increase of your own skill. At least that how it's worked for me thus far. Even if your currently using a more cartoonish style it till helps alot to reference other works. ^_^ | |

| 21 Jun 2004 | Jacob Corona | I hope you don't mind a bit of harsh criticism. I'm not trying to be offencive, keep that in mind. First of all, what is a Paladin doing in an ancients Egyptian Tomb? I don't feel that setting is right, although the idea is nice. He only has upper-body armor, which seems unbalanced, and his torso is much too large. He'd be stumbling all over the place. I try not to let it bother me, but these things jump up and gouge my eyes out. <=\ | |
